BriteBlue licenses are managed per Business Central environment using the BriteBlue Licensemanager.
When installing a BriteBlue extension from Microsofts AppSource, the BriteBlue Licensemanager extension is automatically installed if necessary.
This extension monitors the use and management of the BriteBlue extensions.

When you install a BriteBlue extension on your Business Central environment, you automatically receive a trial license. A Production license can be requested from the BriteBlue Licensemanager page in Business Central.

You may receive a request whether you want to allow HTTP Requests from the Licensemanager extension. In that case, choose "Always allow" to ensure that you can connect to the License Server. This message can certainly occur in environments of the "Sandbox" type.

Trial Licenses

  • You can request a maximum of 3 Trial periods per environment, each lasting a maximum of 14 days. If you extend an existing Trial on an earlier date than the end date (i.e. before the 14 days expire), the new Trial period will start from the date of extension.

  • If you have a Production License, please contact us to also obtain a license for your Sandbox as well.

Production Licenses

  • Production licenses can be requested from Business Central.

    • To do this, open the “BriteBlue Licensemanager” page

  • We process cancellations of existing subscriptions, from the next subscription period: this can be from the start of the next subscription month or from the start of the next subscription year.

Met behulp van de BriteBlue License Manager worden de BriteBlue licenties per Business Central omgeving beheerd.
Bij het installeren van een BriteBlue extensie uit Micorsoft AppSource wordt de BriteBlue Licensemanager automatisch mee geïnstalleerd indien nodig.
Deze extensie monitort het gebruik en beheer van de BriteBlue extensies.

Wanneer je een BriteBlue extensie installeert op je Business Central omgeving, ontvang je automatisch een trial licentie. Vanuit de BriteBlue Licencemanager pagina in Business Central kan een Productie licentie worden aangevraagd.
Mocht je problemen ondervinden bij het activeren van je trial licentie neem dan contact met ons op:

Mogelijk krijg je een verzoek of je HTTP Requests toe wil staan vanuit de Licensemanager extensie. Kies in dat geval voor "Altijd toestaan" om er zeker van te zijn dat verbonden kan worden met de Licentie Server. Zeker op omgevingen van het type "Sandbox" kan deze melding voorkomen.

Trial Licenses

  • Per omgeving kun je maximaal 3 Trial periodes, van elk maximaal 14 dagen, aanvragen. Wanneer je een bestaande Trial op een eerdere datum dan de einddatum verlengt (dus voordat de 14 dagen aflopen), dan gaat de nieuwe Trial periode in vanaf de datum van verlengen.

  • Beschik je over een Production License, neem dan contact met ons op om ook een licentie te verkrijgen voor je Sandbox.

Production Licenses

  • Productie licenties kunnen aangevraagd worden vanuit Business Central.

    • Open hiervoor de pagina “BriteBlue Licensemanager”

  • We verwerken beëindigingen vanaf de eerstvolgende subscriptieperiode: dit kan zijn per ingang van de eerstvolgende subscriptiemaand of per ingang van het eerstvolgende subscriptiejaar.

Machtigingensets en Gebruikers Machtigingensets

  • Bij het installeren van BriteBlue Licensemanager worden twee Machtigingensets toegevoegd:

  • LICENSEMANGADMINPERM

    • Voeg deze Machtigingenset toe aan alle gebruikers en/of beveiligingsgroepen die licenties moeten beheren.

  • LICENSEMANGUSERPERM

    • Voeg deze Machtigingenset toe aan alle gebruikers en/of beveiligingsgroepen die BriteBlue-extensies gebruiken, om ervoor te zorgen dat de licentievalidatie kan worden uitgevoerd door gebruikerssessies.

  • Bij installatie van de BriteBlue Licensemanager wordt de machtigingenset “LICENSEMANGUSERPERM” automatisch aan alle gebruikers toegevoegd

    • Zorg ervoor dat je deze machtigingenset toevoegt wanneer je een nieuwe gebruiker toevoegt in BC!
